Soft Wash has been cleverly formulated so the addition of boiled tap water transforms a sachet of powder into a bottle of liquid gel wash in minutes.

In-house aromatherapeutic blends

Our three unique essential-oil based scents have been expertly blended in-house for their aromatherapeutic properties. Take a moment to allow your mind to drift to faraway lands as our three scents stimulate your senses whilst you cleanse.
Use regular tap water. Choose your scent and empty the entire powdered contents of one Soft Wash sachet into your frosted glass Forever Bottle.
Wait a few minutes then pour the freshly boiled water into your Forever Bottle, over the powder, right up to the neck. Stir (don’t shake!) steadily for 2 minutes using a fork. You can top the bottle up with more water and stir in.
When it’s cooled down enough your Soft Wash is ready for use. The gel will continue to thicken and any residual lumps will dissolve within a day. When the bottle is empty, rinse and repeat with your next sachet!
Our
Our palm oil free sodium coco-sulfate (not to be confused with SLS and SLES) has a rich, fluffy foam with superior cleansing power. Its large particles make it gentle - it can't penetrate your skin barrier which is what causes irritation in usual sulphates like SLS. We also use cocamidopropyl betaine as a secondary surfactant to further enhance the softness.
Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) is a humectant, binding and holding water in the skin, softening and protecting by improving your skin barrier and hydration levels. We've added a chelator which binds to the metal ions in tap water (especially good for hard water) to soften it and make it skin friendly. Our gum blend assists in keeping skin soft and hydrated too.
Our three unique and evocative scents based in essential-oils have been expertly blended in-house for their aromatherapeutic properties. Unlike commercial washes which have strong synthetic fragrances which get under your skin and irritate, ours do your skin good and your nose even better!
The fragrance we use is actually natural isolates and they’re used only for jasmine and honeysuckle, in very small amounts blended into the rest of the essential oils. Even though they are naturally made they must be listed as ‘parfum’ on the INCI list. The essential oil absolutes from these flowers are incredibly expensive and really unsustainable (most perfumers even use the isolates rather than the pure extracts). You would need tonnes of the precious flowers just for a few kilos of pure absolute oil. Trust us, we hate the smell of synthetics too - these don’t smell synthetic, on the contrary they smell incredible!

Our bottle is the right capacity for the ingredients of the sachet, has a wide neck for ease of use and the silicone non-slip base to allow handling when hot. If you really wanted to use your own bottle you could make the Soft Wash up in a beaker with 350ml of boiled water and pour into the bottle of your choice after it's cooled.
A valid question and there are a few reasons.
1. We couldn't source an aluminium bottle with a wide neck - enough to facilitate pouring the sachet into. Aluminium is prohibitively expensive to get custom designed.
2. Thin aluminium is much hotter when boiled water is poured into it, so this makes it difficult to handle.
3. The essential oils tend to react differently to aluminium and changed scent and colour over time in our tests.
