This is a lightweight but deeply hydrating facial lotion harnessing the best of nature's actives to nourish and calm skin, grown by our Mother and bottled by us.
Drenches skin with a high level of moistening humectants and softening emollients which plump and moisturise skin. The addition of premium botanical extracts will soothe and restore your complexion, leaving skin healthy and comfortable, never tight or greasy. Suitable for sensitive skin and the perfect base for our facial oils.

• Gotu Kola- Also Centella or Cica, intensely calming, restoring, repairing
• Aloe- the original soothing plant, reduces redness and heals skin
• Chamomile- a softly healing plant, calms and restores irritated skin
• Glycerin- vegetable based, attracts and binds water to the skin, plumping
• Allantoin- hydrates, softens and protects skin. Reduces irritation.
• Panthenol- protects from moisture loss, supports skin barrier
• Betaine- humectant from sugar beets, protects and maintains hydration levels

Love the original, sad for the relaunch

I'm sorry to leave a more negative review as I love the brand, but I am really disappointed to see this lovely product is about to be relaunched with a different formula and 40ml less product. I love the original formula and it is great value for money at 100ml for £34, not to mention the absolutely stunning bottle/packaging which has to be the most beautiful I've ever seen for a cosmetic product. I don't dislike the sound of the new formula, however equally it is very similar to the original but is now £30 for 60ml (the equivalent amount of the original formula would be worth around £20). I do appreciate that costs of ingredients may have risen, but it seems like a big price hike- plus I would still prefer to purchase a 100ml bottle. I'm also sorry to say I think the rebranded packaging is nowhere near as nice as the original which was just stunning and so unique. Unfortunately I don't think I will be repurchasing this product anymore.

Hi Hannah, I know nobody likes a price rise. NB has been going for around 9 years and the prices have stayed the same through all the craziness the world and the economy has gone through. I do everything myself, with no staff, and without an overhaul I would have to shut down. The prices and formats needed to be revisited. Mild Mannered has now got the amazing gotu kola extract which does wonders at reducing redness and calming sensitive skin. I’ve also swapped out the phenoxyethanol preservative with a new more modern and natural preservative that is more easily tolerated by sensitive skins. The other super hydrating and skin nurturing ingredients are the same. It’s a long term favourite for a reason. The size of our lotion has gone down to 60ml to match the normal size and prices of this category. Thank you for being a customer and I hope you will come back to us :)

Massively improved my skin

I don't often have as impactful an experience with skincare - usually I'm not sure if it's making a difference at all. I have sensitive skin that's prone to rosacea.

The bottle design for this is so gorgeous that I'm happy to have it live on my bedside table - meaning I use it every night and morning. My rosacea has calmed down massively and my skin tone & texture is markedly better too. I love this product, a definite holy grail!

My favourite moisturiser ever !

I love this moisturiser. It is incredible lightweight and non greasy. It's perfect for both day and night. It feels cooling and very gentle on my skin. It soaks in so easily without any residue or sticky feeling. The refill also works brilliantly & it lasts ages. Love ! Love ! Love it !

Mild mannered is lovely

Lovely light, moisturising lotion. I was hoping it would help with my eczema but it doesn’t. But still a great product I’d buy again.
